Smoothie Bowls – Avocado and Pear
This morning, at 6:30, I shuffle sleepily through my kitchen. The first glance into the mirror was deadly. A notification pops up on my phone, “PPM at Gruner, 9:00”. “Dammit”, I think, “What can I do to kick-start the day?”
An extra dose of after-shave, taurine shower gel, a quadruple shot espresso for breakfast.
It hits me when an avocado tumbles from the countertop to my feet, like a sign from God. Yeah, that’s it!
A smoothie bowl is what I need! The Avocado and Pear Bowl is my choice, and the next minute ginger, avocado, pear, spinach, and dates are racing around in my blender. Crushed ice goes in, then oat bran flakes and almond slivers on top, and Wow! I feel my sense awake after the first sip.
